Effective October 23, 2026. The Beauty Code is a web app operated by Lu Kai Tech LLC, California. This notice describes this browser-based beta.
Your beauty profile
Your skin, complexion, style, hair, ingredient preferences, sampled color, saved products, and comparison bag are stored in this browser’s local storage under this app’s own key. This version has no cloud account, cross-device synchronization, or profile-upload endpoint. Anyone with access to your unlocked browser may be able to view this information. Do not enter medical records or other sensitive details.
Your photos
Choosing a JPG, PNG, or WebP photo opens it in memory in this tab. The app can sample a pixel color when you click the photo or use its keyboard control. Photo bytes are not uploaded or written to local storage. The photo is removed on page reload, when you close the tab, or when you use Remove photo. Only your selected color sample may be saved. This is not face recognition, biometric identification, skin diagnosis, or automated undertone analysis.
Ingredient lists
Lists you paste into the label helper are processed in the page. The helper’s pasted list and temporary search terms are not saved. Your profile’s avoid list is saved with your profile. Name matching is limited and does not establish safety or suitability.
Hosting and other websites
This app loads its assets from the Lu Kai Tech site and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, external fonts, or a payment processor. Our hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and access logs to deliver and secure the site. When you follow an official-brand link, that brand receives your browser request and its own privacy policy applies. Your beauty profile is not included in those links.
Offline files
Where supported over HTTPS, a service worker caches public app files on your device. It does not cache your photo or send your profile to a server. Browser storage can be cleared, blocked, or removed by your device; do not rely on it as a permanent backup.
Export and erase
Under More, Download profile and Copy profile export your written choices and saved product names, without the photo. You control what you do with that copy. Erase my beauty data removes this app’s saved profile, favorites, comparison bag, sampled color, and open photo from this browser. It does not erase downloaded copies or data in other Lu Kai Tech apps. To remove cached public files too, clear this website’s data in your browser settings.

For questions or requests, use Help & support to email operation@lukaitech.com. Your message will identify The Beauty Code. Your local profile is not attached automatically. No remote beauty-profile account exists in this version. You can directly export or erase the data through the app, and read current limitations under Terms & help.
